Baikonur cosmodrome tour
Tour to Baikonur cosmodrome with watching of the Soyuz MS-09 rocket lift-off!
On April 12 we celebrate a very important day that marked the beginning of space era. On April 12, 1961 legendary Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin performed the first ever space flight that lasted for 108 minutes. Now it seems not so long compared to the contemporary space missions but for humanity this spaceflight opened a wonderful world of space science and exploration.
A group of our tourists has returned back from Baikonur cosmodrome where they took part in a rocket launch tour. We had a chance to see of the crew of Soyuz MS-08 comprised of commander Oleg Artemyev and flight engineers Andrew Fuestel and Richard Arnold at the way to space.
Our Company successfully implemented a very interesting project for Danish TV2. In the framework of this program the anchorman performed 30 minutes flight aboard L-39 Albatros. Our pilot demonstrated highest skills and capabilities of the aircraft performing various aerobatics such as low passes, rolls, turns, zooms etc.
Early February we successfully implemented an extensive program of space trainings for our new friends. Since they are extreme fans and go in for sky-jumping their main task was to challenge themselves.
Once again we saw off to space one more international crew. Despite extremely cold weather conditions in Baikonur we had a big group of space fans willing to witness the launch of Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft with crew commander Anton Shkaplerov (Roscosmos) and flight engineers Scott Tingle (NASA) and Norishige Kanai (JAXA) aboard.
Young participants of our afterschool program in the Star City met with members of the international crew of astronauts who are preparing for one of the nearest space launches.
