Baikonur tour – Soyuz MS-05 launch
Just a few days ago together with a large group of space fans we saw a manned spacecraft off to the ISS.
Soyuz MS-05 spacecraft with Sergey Ryazansky (Roscosmos), Paolo Nespoli (ESA) and Randolf Bresnik (NASA) was launched from the pad #1 of Baikonur launhsite on July 28, at 21.41 local time (18.41, Moscow time).
Traditionally our tourists visited all the important prelaunch events starting from the roll-out and erection of the rocket to traditional farewell ceremony near Cosmonaut hotel and crew’s ready-to-go report to the Stat Commission, learned a lot about the history of Baikonur city and launchsite itself, visited all museums, monuments and sights.
Once again space has united people of various occupations and nationalities. Russia, Italy, France, USA, Canada, Hungary, Poland… In our group we also had a team of Sergey Ryazansky’ friends and guests from Italy coming Baikonur to support Paolo Nespoli.
Despite the heat our guests managed to get the best impressions of our tour and naturally the launch itself shifted all the expectations.
Even the experienced specialists considered Soyuz MS-05 launch one of the most beautiful ones.
