Baikonur tour – Soyuz MS-07 launch
Once again we saw off to space one more international crew. Despite extremely cold weather conditions in Baikonur we had a big group of space fans willing to witness the launch of Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft with crew commander Anton Shkaplerov (Roscosmos) and flight engineers Scott Tingle (NASA) and Norishige Kanai (JAXA) aboard.
This time the schedule was very busy. Our guests visited sights, museums and memorials of Baikonur city, watched the roll-out and erection of the rocket, learned a lot about history of Baikonur launchsite and space exploration, attended farewell ceremony at the pad #17 near Cosmonaut hotel and official crew’s ready-to-go report to the state commission at the pad #254. And without any doubts the launch itself was the most remarkable event since there is nothing more exciting than the rocket taking off to the clear and brightly blue skies of Baikonur.
Some of our guests went on with their space experience and visited Gagarin Cosmonauts training in Star City where all cosmonauts train before going to the ISS and RSC Energia Museum.
