VK Vegitel Aerospace Tours:

Gravity – zero!

On October 17, 2013 Vegitel company organized a Zero Gravity flight for a collected team, which became the outright gift for all fans of sky, space and just extreme sensations. Ilyushin-76MDK, the flying laboratory of the Cosmonaut Training Center hosted onboard guests from Holland, Germany, France, Italy and Russia. People of absolutely different ages and professions experienced a great adventure together that consolidated them into a “space fellowship”.

It seems that even the nature itself was kind to our brave participants. On the eve of the event, during pre-flight briefing the sky was murky and grey, annoying rain drizzled, but on the flight day as if by magic the autumn gave us a boundless blue sky transfused by golden sun rays. With a cheerful mind and a plush mascot – a longstanding attribute of Russian Olympic team, fairy-tale character Cheburashka – the group went aboard.

10 weightlessness modes, 27 seconds each, a total absence of gravity, adrenaline rush and free floating sensation – our guests will remember all these for the rest of their lives, and photos and full HD video will make it possible to again and again return back to these unforgettable moments.

After the flight Hero of the Russian Federation, Head of special training division of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center Victor Ren presented all the participants with commemorative certificates of the Center testifying the completion of such Zero Gravity flight.

Of course, such diamond as Zero Gravity flight requires a proper surrounding. Our foreign quests decided to lose this unique opportunity and continue their familiarization with Russian aviation and space by making an extended tour to Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, Star city space museum and Monino Air force museum.
