Space acquaints with Russia
There is one sky for everyone… Love for space and aviation effaced the boundaries between Switzerland and Russia when our guests Walter and Marc Egger set foot on the Russian land to spend in Moscow a week full of unforgettable and thrilling events. Zero-G flight they performed as members of combined group on August 16 became the central part of their stay in our country as this incredible adventure and extreme impressions are exactly what they were looking for. And their expectations were fully satisfied.
Apart from real space trainings extensive program included visiting the main objects of aerospace industry.
On the threshold of Aircraft Day our guests visited Central Museum of Air Force of Russia Federation in Monino and felt its special atmosphere. As no one of those in love with the sky and whose heart sinks with excitement with the first sounds of engine can stay indifferent seeing with his own eyes the whole history of Russian aviation from the first small and fragile wooden planes to high-speed jet fighters such as MiG-29 and Su-27 striking with their speed and maneuverability when your imagination depicts air battles showing heroism and unsurpassed skills of Soviet and Russian pilots.
But there is not the whole story! As how can one being in Russia ignore its magnificent sights? Our guests saw Red Square that is the heart of Russia, Moscow at Night, Sergiev-Posad and many other places. But 6 days have passed and our friends went home with the most kind and bright memories of our great space homeland.
