Spacecraft landing tour, June 2018
The beginning of this June turned to be full of important space events. Only during the first week and only three days apart we witnessed at first re-entry of the spacecraft crew from the International Space Station back to the Earth and then the latest manned space launch.
On June 3, 2018 the crew of Soyuz MS-07 manned transport vehicle successfully returned back to the Earth after a 168-days duty shift onboard the ISS. Descent module with ROSCOSMOS cosmonaut Anton SHKAPLEROV, NASA astronaut Scott TINGLE and JAXA astronaut Norishige KANAI landed in the steppe of Kazakhstan at 15:39:42 Moscow time 147 km south-east from the city of Zheskazgan.
Following the long-standing heart-warming tradition representatives of the biggest news agencies, newspapers and TV channels of the Land of the Rising Sun joined us to meet the Japanese astronaut at the landing site. Having already plenty of emotions even before the landing we arrived at the actual point of touchdown together with the first search and rescue force. That resulted in exclusive photo and video standup coverage, front pages in newspapers and prime time broadcasts on all TV channels of Japan.
Here you can see our landing expedition report and not just that. The launch tour report is coming soon.
