“Taikonauts” in Star City

Representatives of Tianxia (the Celestial Empire) have always strived to justify the poetic name of their country, trying to do their best in all initiatives. Their aspiration to conquer the near space is not exclusion. Thus when China started its space program the interest of Chinese people to this field of science continuously grows.

Our company arranged for Chinese governmental delegation an extended program in GCTC with the elements of space trainings. Official atmosphere in the beginning quickly changed for genuine interest of the guests to the Russian space program while the possibility to feel themselves cosmonauts couldn’t leave indifferent even party leaders of high rank.

Visiting Mir space station with the entrance inside the module, centrifuge CF-18 ride, trying on Sokol spacesuits all that allowed our guests to fling themselves into cosmonaut’s weekdays. Specialized training facility on space cooking with tasting delighted all the participants. After festive lunch in best traditions of Russian hospitality the members of delegation met with the hero of Russia pilot cosmonaut Sergey Volkov who shared with them his experience and impressions of life and work on the orbit.

In conclusion Sergey Volkov granted the participants with personal certificates confirming that they had passed several elements of space trainings.

We hope such exciting programs arranged by our company here on the Earth will be a good prerequisite for development of cooperation in the field of space exploration between our countries and one day our cosmonauts and taikonauts will meet on the orbit.
