Baikonur Tour – Soyuz MS-06 Launch

66 photos

Together with a group of space and adventure fans we saw off to space from Baikonur launch site one more international crew. From tour to tour our groups tend to grow in size and though the major part of the group were Russian citizens it is very pleasant to see that more and more foreign guests show great interest to Russian cosmonautics. This time we had a team of space fans from USA, tourists from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and France.

A journey of more than six thousand miles to Star City

We rapidly expand our tourism geography and this time a couple from sunny Mexico challenged themselves passing space trainings in GCTC.

Space lovers from all over the world come to Star city to participate in training programs. But this couple took our breath away because they were not just simple space fans since childhood but also had a collection of rescue spacesuits!

Mexicans took part in Egress-2 simulator training in Orlan EVA spacesuits and in Soyuz spacecraft integrated simulator training. Moreover inside the module of Russian segment of ISS they attended the briefing with Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov, learned how the cosmonauts control the station and what actually cosmonauts do onboard ISS.

That was a heartwarming chat and we received a really enthusiastic review from our guests. Now we are ready to share some nice photos with you.
