This year Russia hosts World Cup attracting lots of tourists from all over the world to our country. As it is commonly known Russia is one of the leading aerospace countries thus jet trainer flight with higher aerobatics in Russia is a perfect adventure for extreme enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable experience.
According to our tradition together with a team of space enthusiasts all over the world we saw off to space another international crew. For five days of our tour we became a true united space team indeed! Altogether we visited all historical places and museums of Baikonur and attended all pre-launch events.
On June 3, 2018 the crew of Soyuz MS-07 manned transport vehicle successfully returned back to the Earth after a 168-days duty shift onboard the ISS. Following the long-standing heart-warming tradition representatives of the biggest news agencies, newspapers and TV channels of the Land of the Rising Sun joined us to meet the Japanese astronaut at the landing site.
On April 12 we celebrate a very important day that marked the beginning of space era. On April 12, 1961 legendary Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin performed the first ever space flight that lasted for 108 minutes. Now it seems not so long compared to the contemporary space missions but for humanity this spaceflight opened a wonderful world of space science and exploration.
A group of our tourists has returned back from Baikonur cosmodrome where they took part in a rocket launch tour. We had a chance to see of the crew of Soyuz MS-08 comprised of commander Oleg Artemyev and flight engineers Andrew Fuestel and Richard Arnold at the way to space.
Our Company successfully implemented a very interesting project for Danish TV2. In the framework of this program the anchorman performed 30 minutes flight aboard L-39 Albatros. Our pilot demonstrated highest skills and capabilities of the aircraft performing various aerobatics such as low passes, rolls, turns, zooms etc.
Once again we saw off to space one more international crew. Despite extremely cold weather conditions in Baikonur we had a big group of space fans willing to witness the launch of Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft with crew commander Anton Shkaplerov (Roscosmos) and flight engineers Scott Tingle (NASA) and Norishige Kanai (JAXA) aboard.
On November 28 we successfully performed two zero-gravity flights. Well-known Russian Company arranged an unusual corporate event dedicated to space topic for its specialists and we are very glad to see that cosmonautics becomes more and more popular. Program participants had a general tour around Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre area visiting its most important facilities learned how the cosmonauts prepare for the spaceflights, how the work and live on the orbit and even could feel like real cosmonauts onboard our flying laboratory Ilyushin-76 MDK. For the last week Vegitel Company has arranged 4 flights aboard Aero L-39 Albatros jet fighter for Chinese tourists. They totally rocked this rather nasty day and filled it with joy and bright impressions. The tourists performed all kind of aerobatics aboard Aero L-39 Albatros, some of them were lucky to perform twin aerobatics together with Aero L-29 Delfin.
Together with a group of space and adventure fans we saw off to space from Baikonur launch site one more international crew. From tour to tour our groups tend to grow in size and though the major part of the group were Russian citizens it is very pleasant to see that more and more foreign guests show great interest to Russian cosmonautics. This time we had a team of space fans from USA, tourists from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and France.

Just a few days ago together with a large group of space fans we saw a manned spacecraft off to the ISS. Soyuz MS-05 spacecraft with Sergey Ryazansky (Roscosmos), Paolo Nespoli (ESA) and Randolf Bresnik (NASA) was launched from the pad #1 of Baikonur launhsite on July 28, at 21.41 local time (18.41, Moscow time).
Guests from Switzerland who have already been to GCTC last year, came to Moscow again a while ago. Moreover they invited a group of their friends from different countries such as the USA, Switzerland, Brazil, France, and Spain. One of the group participants was Luxemburg royalty who was deeply inspired by the guide’s exciting speech about space industry.
Just a couple of days ago our crew returned from Baikonur where had spent 6 days with cosmonautics fans arranging for them a breathtaking tour with the observation of the launch. On April 20th, Soyuz MS-04 crew made up of Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin and American astronaut Jack Fisher was successfully launched to the ISS.
On April 12 we celebrate World’s Aviation and Cosmonautics Day. 56 years ago on April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin performed first spaceflight proving that there is nothing impossible.

On the threshold of New Year holidays much more visitors are willing to get to Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in the pursuit of new impressions. As usual we did our best to make the tour as busy and exciting as possible: our guests learned a lot about achievements of Russian space science visiting Soyuz spaceship simulators hall, Mir space station hall and Russian ISS segment hall and tried real space food.
Flights of our tourists aboard MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter jet take place all the year round since as it’s commonly known MiG-29 is an all-weather jet fighter. But except for the flights we have lots of other interesting events taking place at Sokol airbase and we’d like to share latest news with you. On November 18 at 23.20 Moscow time (02.20 local Kazakh time) Soyuz MS-03 spacecraft with crew commander Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and flight engineers NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet (France) onboard was successfully launched to the ISS from Baikonur spaceport.
On October 30, 2016 at 06:58, descent capsule of Soyuz MS-01 delivered to the Earth crew commander Roscosmos cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin and flight engineers JAXA astronauts Takuya Onishi and NASA woman-astronaut Kathleen Rubins. According to our good tradition our company organized a landing tour for numerous Japanese mass media representatives.
We are always glad to welcome new friends! In October we greeted a wonderful family from Canada – a young space fan with his parents decided to dedicate first trip to Russia to space-related topic. Our guests have visited Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Star City and Mission Control Centre in Korolyov.
We have already got used to arrange individual space trainings in Star City for our international tourists. But this time we had to accomplish a really difficult task – to elaborate a training program for more than 40 Bulgarian citizens, who were truly excited to have such an unforgettable experience. We will be glad to see them again for sure because we believe that the ties between Russia and Bulgaria stem from deep affinity and strong friendship between Russian and Bulgarian peoples!
For the first time in GCTC history a young and ambitious tourist from China, who is by the way MSU alumni passed extensive space training program. He confessed he was a real space fan and was interested in Soviet Cosmonautics since he had started to learn Russian. Well, China is rapidly exploring Space and its spaceflight program has now entered a new phase of development, that’s why Chinese citizens show a special interest for space theme.
Early September Toni Myers’ "A Beautiful Planet" will be released in Russia. The Director made an attempt to picture a portrait of Earth from space, providing a unique perspective and increased understanding of our planet showing how it is living and changing along with the humanity. On July 26, 2016, mass media representatives going to cover "A Beautiful Planet" release visited Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Star City, a legendary place where history meets the future.
